This is why, on rest days, I do yoga. I am not good at yoga. I grunt and moan in the back of the class as I move into those oh so tight areas of my body that have forgotten how to relax.
Thank goodness I have a phenomenal yoga instructor, Terri Cotts, in Walla Walla who keeps me on my toes and stretched out. When my body gets really bad, I do one-on-one sessions with her to remind my body how to relax into movement rather than fight into it.
1 hr and 15 minutes of lovely yoga today. At least I get to lift heavy tomorrow!
